While visiting UDF’s south pacific base - Base Poseidon, Kaito and Chief Tomioka met the latter’s old comrade, Professor Deta. Chief Tomioka, together with Professor Yoshinaga and Professor Deta were once together as mates in an Earth defence team. Professor Deta mentioned to Chief Tomioka that Kaito was an outstanding fighter pilot.

Near Base Poseidon, the monster Flygula appeared!

The creature Flygula was the by product of the polluted environment, a result of Mankind’s environmental abuse. As Kaito was injured, Chief Tomioka took to the helms of the DASH mecha. Kaito who was behind Chief Tomioka, overheard the words that Chief Tomioka uttered…
