REQUIEM

Libera me, Domine, de morte aeterna
in die illa tremenda, quando coeli
movendi sunt et terra, dum veneris
judicare saeculum per ignem.

Tremens factus sum ego et timeo,
dum discussio venerit atque ventura ira;
quando coeli movendi sunt et terra.

Dies irae, dies illa,
calamitatis et miseriae,
dies magna et amara valde,
dum veneris judicare
saeculum per ignem.

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis

Disaster Victims Need Your Help

Ultraman Lah expresses our deepest sympathy and condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims who lost their lives to the tsunami that devastated the coastal settlements throughout South Asia and Southeast Asia.

The bodies of victims of a tsunami which hit the Indonesian city of Banda Aceh are seen December 27, 2004. Dead bodies littered the streets on Tuesday and fresh water, food and fuel were in short supply in Indonesia's Aceh province where it is feared as many as 10,000 people were killed by the tsunami. Tokusatsu fans are awed by scenes of damage and destruction wrought by other kaijus. But this time, the destruction unleashed by Mother Earth is real. Whole villages were wiped out. Infrastructure destroyed. Many, many lives were lost. The bodies are still piling up along the beaches and relief centers as survivors continue to search for their loved ones.

Nations bordering the Indian Ocean from Indonesia to Sri Lanka clawed through the wreckage of a quake-triggered tsunami for bodies to bury on Tuesday as fears grew the toll would exceed the 50,000 now reported killed. But the greater catastrophe will come if these disaster wrought countries do not receive help on time. The afflicted countries need all the resources donors can muster for relief operations. The displaced population needs to be fed and sheltered, they will need also need medical supplies, blankets and clothes . The countries need assistance to clean up the destruction and bury the dead so as to prevent diseases from festering.

Hopes faded on Tuesday for tourists missing in some of Asia's most popular resorts, two days after a tsunami triggered by an earthquake battered Indian Ocean coastlines, killing more than 26,000 people and stranding many more. Ultraman Lah! would appeal to all Ultra fans to be charitable and assist in whatever ways you could.

If there’s anything we can learn from our hero, Ultraman, is the spirit to step forward during mankind’s darkest hour, and to sacrifices so that others may live.
